Is this a hiking pant or an everyday pant?

Depends on the design. Stretch softshell and DWR-treated technical pants are built for trail use — moisture-shedding, articulated knee, stretch in motion. Casual hiking pants double as everyday wear without looking out of place.

Does it have stretch?

Most modern technical pants have 4–10% elastane for mechanical stretch. The spec sheet calls out the percentage and the construction (stretch woven, softshell, etc.).

Will it shed water?

DWR-treated pants shed light rain and dew. For sustained rain or wet brush, layer with rain pants — DWR isn't waterproof, just water-resistant.

How are the sizes structured?

Men's pants are sold by waist (28, 30, 32…) and length (Short / Regular / Long). Women's pants are sold by numeric size (0, 2, 4…) with optional length. Refer to the size guide for the exact inseams in this product.

Are the pockets secure?

Hand pockets are typically zippered on technical pants. Cargo or thigh pockets close with a zip or a hook-and-loop flap. Spec sheet confirms the exact pocket configuration.
