Description
A pinnacle-performance 3-season 800 FP down bag, Riff offers a trim, athletic cut designed for side sleepers who crave space-saving packability. NEMO`s iconic Spoon bags are cut wider at the elbows and knees so campers can easily shift positions throughout the night, and the Ultralight Spoon silhouette used on Riff maintains that extra room while cutting in tighter at the feet and shoulders. The result is a sleeping bag vastly more comfortable than a mummy bag, but still impressively compact. Riff includes a set of next-generation Thermo Gill vents on the chest to offer fine-tuned temperature control and a better outdoor sleeping experience. Each Gill features an interior and an exterior zipper with a draft-blocking intermediate layer, allowing several different configurations for dialing in the bag`s temperature without direct exposure to cold air. Our Blanket Fold draft collar at the neckline features a redesigned size and shape to further optimize sleep temperature. Tucked in, the Blanket Fold defiantly blocks any chill while mimicking the comfort of your bed at home. Pushed out, it helps dump excess heat instantly. Finally, Riff includes strategically designed baffles insulated with water-resistant, RDS-certified down that are placed vertically along the torso for comfort and aligned horizontally below the waist to prevent down migration. Riff is NEMO`s top-of-the-line, backcountry-oriented sleeping bag, and it`s also the latest addition to our suite of Endless Promise products. Manufactured from a single type of material, this sleeping bag is 100% recyclable at the end of its life, just send it back to NEMO, and we`ll handle the rest.

About the brand
NEMO Equipment was born on a turbulent night in 2002 on the side of Mount Washington, where founder Cam Brensinger spent five sleepless hours in a poorly designed bivy and realized how much better outdoor gear could be with thoughtful design. He founded NEMO that spring in Nashua, New Hampshire — naming it after Jules Verne's Captain Nemo, and, fittingly, 'New England Mountain Outfitters.' At Mountain Sports, we love NEMO for that problem-solving, design-first spirit: award-winning tents, sleeping bags, pads, and camp furniture engineered for real comfort and built to last.

Ultralight backcountry missions
800 FP down and the trim Ultralight Spoon™ cut deliver top-tier warmth-to-weight that disappears into a pack.
Not for: Overkill for casual car camping — you'd be paying for packability you won't use. Save with the Disco 650 FP
Consistently wet conditions
The water-resistant down treatment shrugs off tent condensation and light dampness.
Not for: In persistently soaked climates, synthetic fill is the safer insurance — it insulates even when wet. See the Forte synthetic
