The Women's Insulated Denim Outfitter Coat is built with sturdy denim and lightweight polyester insulation for reliable warmth in cold conditions. The finger-length cut provides extended coverage while allowing easy movement through the day.

The denim shell is garment-washed to capture the feel of broken-in favorites from first wear. A collar lined with high-pile fleece adds warmth at the neck. The two-way front zipper allows for easy adjustment when sitting or bending, and snap-adjustable cuffs provide a secure fit.

Dual-duty front pockets combine handwarming with added cargo capacity. Based on outfitter coats from our archive, they keep essentials close. Clean lines and durable construction make it a dependable layer through the colder months.

About The Brand

Filson has outfitted people who work outdoors since 1897, when C.C. Filson began kitting out prospectors headed north to the Klondike. The promise then was the same one on the label today: might as well have the best. That means oil-finish Tin Cloth and Shelter Cloth waxed canvas that turns brush, weather, and abrasion; Mackinaw wool that stays warm wet; brushed cotton flannel and moleskin cut for a full day of motion; and hardware chosen to outlast the garment. Filson builds gear to break in rather than wear out, and backs it with a lifetime guarantee. At Mountain Sports, we love Filson because it is honest, repairable, heirloom-grade kit — the jacket you hand down, not the one you replace.
