About the brand

New Balance has been making shoes in New England since 1906, and still runs its own factories in the United States — a rare thing in modern footwear. The range stretches from the 574 to carbon-plated racers and track spikes, but the constant is fit: multiple widths, a size run that goes where other brands stop, and shoes built to be run in rather than looked at. At Mountain Sports, we carry New Balance because it takes fit seriously — and because a shoe that actually fits is the one you will keep reaching for.
