Description
The Radius is the anchor Anchor Wizard built for their own system. It is shaped to seat securely in the Anchor Wizard chute rather than swing around on the hull, and Anchor Wizard state it is made to work in any type of water. Two weights are offered: 4 lb for smaller kayaks and calmer water, 6 lb when there is wind or current to hold against.
If you already run an Anchor Wizard crank, this is the anchor it was designed around. The low-profile kayak crank is rated to raise up to 10 lb, so either weight sits comfortably inside what the system can lift, and the rounded profile means it comes home into the chute without catching. Like the rest of the line it is made in the USA.
Perfect for
Features
- Shaped for the chute. Anchor Wizard designed the Radius profile to seat securely in their own anchor chute, so it comes up and stows without catching on the way in.
- Rated for any water. Anchor Wizard state the Radius was developed to work in any type of water, fresh or salt, which is the same claim they make for the crank itself.
- Two weights. 4 lb for smaller boats and calm water, 6 lb when wind or current means you need more bite. Both sit under the crank's 10 lb lifting rating.
- Made in the USA. Anchor Wizard manufacture their whole line in the USA, the Radius anchor included.

About the brand
Anchor Wizard makes anchoring simple. Their crank-and-chute systems let you drop and retrieve an anchor from your seat, with one hand, without turning around or hauling wet rope into your lap. Everything is made in the USA and built around the same idea: the less work anchoring takes, the more you fish. At Mountain Sports, we like Anchor Wizard because it solves a real problem on the water instead of adding another gadget to the deck.

Is this right for you?
Anchoring a fishing kayak
Lakes, ponds and slow rivers where you want to stop over a spot and stay there while you fish it out.
Not for: This is a kayak-sized anchor. It is not meant to hold a powerboat or to work in fast current or surf. Browse kayak accessories
Completing an Anchor Wizard setup
If you already run the crank and chute, this is the anchor the system was built around, in the weight that suits your boat.
Not for: The anchor is sold on its own. It does not include the crank, the chute or the rope. Everything else for the water
A spare to keep in the truck
Small enough to keep a second one on hand, so a lost anchor does not end the trip.
Not for: Anchor Wizard publish no material or coating spec, so if you need a documented marine-grade alloy for a specific application, ask us first. Browse all gear
