Description

The SwingArm Revolver is YakAttack's answer to the problem of a crowded modern fishing kayak: everything wants the same few inches of deck. It pairs a 12 inch TactaTrac rail with the LockNLoad mounting system, so a press of the trigger releases 360 degrees of rotation and a fully opened trigger lets a compatible accessory quick-connect off the mount entirely.

Loosen the side knob and the rail itself rotates a full 360 degrees on a horizontal axis, and the rail end caps carry the LockNLoad radial tooth pattern so the rail or whatever is on it indexes in exact 15 degree steps and returns to the same spot every time. It attaches to most modern gear track systems, works with every YakAttack MightyBolt accessory, and is made in the USA from UV-resistant polymers, anodized aluminum and stainless hardware under the Built for Life guarantee. The same mount is offered with an 8 inch rail if you want more or less reach.

Get the display where you can read it, swing it aside when you are landing a fish, then index it straight back to the same angle.

Pedal drive kayaks

Built for modern pedal-drive layouts where deck space is tight and the seat sits high. The rail moves gear out of the pedal path.

Should I get the 8" or the 12" rail?

Both mounts are identical apart from the TactaTrac rail length. Take the 8 inch where deck space is tight or you want the display close in, and the 12 inch when you need to push a fish finder further out in front of a pedal drive or want room for more than one accessory on the rail.

What does the LockNLoad trigger actually do?

Two things. Press it and the mount is free to rotate a full 360 degrees, so you can swing gear aside and bring it back. Open it fully and it becomes a quick-connect, letting a compatible accessory come off the mount and go back on without tools.

Will it hold the angle I set?

Yes, and that is the reason for the radial tooth pattern on the rail end caps. It indexes in 15 degree increments rather than relying on friction, so the rail and anything mounted on it come back to exactly the same angle every time you reset it.

Will it fit my kayak?

It is designed to attach to most modern gear track systems and is fully compatible with YakAttack MightyBolt accessories. If your kayak has factory track in a spot you can reach from the seat, it will go on.

Is it made for salt water?

Yes. YakAttack build it in the USA from UV-resistant polymers, anodized aluminum and stainless-steel hardware, which is the combination they use everywhere they expect salt, and it carries their Built for Life guarantee. Rinse it with fresh water after salt trips.
