To create a camping pillow worthy of its weight, we designed the interior with a baffled air cell to help it retain its shape, then covered it with a thick layer of premium foam that repurposes offcuts from our self-inflating sleeping pads. (The cushy feel and waste reduction are a real win-win.) A soft, machine-washable jersey cover is the final touch for a pillow that’s just as soft and cradling as yours at home. Fillo King is luxuriously square and a plush six inches tall for broad shoulders but still rolls up impressively small.

About the brand

NEMO Equipment was born on a turbulent night in 2002 on the side of Mount Washington, where founder Cam Brensinger spent five sleepless hours in a poorly designed bivy and realized how much better outdoor gear could be with thoughtful design. Can I wash it?

How small does it pack?

Every Fillo rolls down into a stuff sack so it won't get lost in your pack. The classic Fillo packs to roughly the size of a russet potato, Fillo Wide compresses to about grapefruit size, Fillo Elite rolls up smaller than a soda can at just 3 oz, and the full-size Fillo King still rolls up impressively small for its plush 6-inch loft.

How do I inflate and adjust the firmness?

A few breaths inflate the internal baffled air cell in seconds. Use the valve to micro-adjust firmness — let out a little air at a time until the pillow cradles your head just right. Deflation is just as quick when it's time to pack up.

What warranty does NEMO gear carry?
