Description
Built for the full day. The Axel pairs a 15K/15K BG INCLINE shell and a PFC-free C0 DWR with Repreve recycled insulation mapped where it earns its keep — 120g through the body and sleeves, 100g at the collar, 60g in the hood, so it is warm without the bulk. Every seam is sealed, the zippers are YKK water resistant, and underarm vents let the heat out when the pitch steepens.

About the brand
Boulder Gear is a family-owned brand built on a simple conviction: the outdoors should be accessible and affordable for everyone, whatever their background or experience. That shows up as full-family snow kit — jackets, bibs, pants, layers and accessories across men's, women's, youth and kids sizing — made to hold up on the hill without stretching the budget. Their BG CORE™ and BG ULTRACORE™ waterproof/breathable shells handle real winter weather, Repreve® recycled insulation adds warmth, and kid-specific touches like grow cuffs and reinforced knees help stretch one season into two. At Mountain Sports, we love Boulder Gear because it gets whole families outside in genuinely capable gear — the brand you can outfit three kids in and still make first chair.
