Glycerin or Glycerin GTS - what is the difference?

Support, and nothing else. They are the same shoe underfoot: same plush DNA TUNED cushioning, same upper, same price. The GTS adds GuideRails™ along the midsole. If nobody has told you that you overpronate, this neutral Glycerin will feel freer. If a run shop has put you in support shoes before, or your old trainers wear along the inside edge, take the GTS.

What changed from the Glycerin 22?

Mostly comfort. Brooks added 2 mm more nitrogen-infused DNA TUNED foam under the forefoot, which is where a long run starts to tell, and put an enhanced triple jacquard knit on top for a softer, more accommodating fit with a wider toe box. The 8 mm drop carries over unchanged.

Is it a stability shoe?

No. The Glycerin 23 is neutral - there is no post and no guidance system. The platform is wide and the heel and forefoot are tuned separately, which makes the ride feel settled, but nothing in the shoe corrects your stride. If you have been fitted into support shoes, look at the Glycerin GTS 23 instead.

Does it fit true to size, and which widths are stocked?

True to size for most runners - take your usual running-shoe size. We stock it in Standard (B) and Wide (D), in US 5 through 12. The knit upper is accommodating and the toe box is wider than the 22, but if the forefoot still feels tight, change width rather than going up a length.

How long will they last?

Plan on 300 to 500 miles. Judge by the ride rather than the tread: when the cushioning stops springing back and your legs feel more of the road than they used to, the shoe is done even if the outsole looks fine. Rotating two pairs lets the foam recover between runs and gets you more miles out of both.
