How To Measure: Trace the outline of each foot on a piece of paper. In a straight line from the middle of the heel to the longest toe, measure the length of each foot. If one foot is longer than the other, take the larger measurement and compare to the chart. Foot length will determine your shoe size - round up or down to the closest size within 2mm. Women's wide-width styles are labeled 'D Width'.

Is the Speedgoat 6 Mid GTX waterproof?

Yes. It uses a GORE-TEX Invisible Fit bootie laminated to the upper, so it is fully waterproof while staying breathable. The mid-height collar adds extra coverage in deeper puddles, slush and shallow snow, though water can still enter over the top in anything deeper than the collar.

Does the Speedgoat 6 Mid GTX run true to size?

Yes, it fits true to size for most runners and comes in a standard women's B width. If you wear thick trail socks or use orthotics, consider going up a half size for extra room.

What terrain is the Speedgoat 6 Mid GTX best for?

It is built for technical trails and wet, cold conditions where you want extra ankle coverage. The Vibram Megagrip outsole with 5mm lugs excels on rocky, muddy and loose terrain, while the max EVA cushioning suits long days out. It is less ideal for road miles and hot, dry hardpack where the deep lugs and mid collar are overkill.
