The HOKA Challenger 8 is a men's trail running shoe built at the intersection of road and trail. A gravel-grinding workhorse loved for its cushy ride, it adds even more foam underfoot and an improved fit over the last version. A minimal mesh upper, plush collar and durable rubber toe cap finish it. Reoriented multi-directional lugs deliver HOKA's best all-terrain ride yet.

How To Measure: Trace the outline of each foot on a piece of paper. In a straight line from the middle of the heel to the longest toe, measure the length of each foot. If one foot is longer than the other, take the larger measurement and compare to the chart. Foot length will determine your shoe size - round up or down to the closest size within 2mm. Men's footwear is available in Regular, Wide and X-Wide widths.

Is the Challenger 8 waterproof?

No. The Challenger 8 uses a breathable recycled engineered mesh upper rather than a waterproof membrane, so it ventilates well and dries quickly but is not designed to keep water out.

How does the Challenger 8 fit?

The Challenger 8 fits true to size in a standard men's D width. If you wear orthotics, the removable insole can be swapped for your own without disrupting the fit.
