Ben's 20 provides long-lasting protection against black flies, ticks, chiggers, mosquitoes, deer flies, stable flies and other biting insects. Ben's 20 is available in the 6 oz. Eco-Spray® canister which uses a patented mechanical delivery system to create an aerosol-like spray using nitrogen instead of propellants such as hydrocarbon or fluorocarbons that may damage the environment. The Eco-Spray package provides total separation of propellent from product. Separating the propellant and the product means that instead of releasing propellants into the atmosphere, every drop effectively repels insects. This contrasts with standard aerosols, which actually dispense only between 40 to 80 percent of the product. Water-based repellents sold under the Ben's name contain DEET, the most effective tick and insect repelling ingredient. It is recommended for use in areas of heavy insect infestation.
