The North Face Winter Warm Pro 1/4-Zip Top is a winning layering piece for our outdoor pursuits in chilly weather. We like the fleece insulation because it's not as fussy as down— trapping in our body heat while tolerating rain, sweat, and snowflakes—while the Windwall overlay makes this hoodie more wind-resistant than typical fleeces. We like this hood as an outer layer when we're actively moving in chilly weather, and its slim fit and thumbholes make it easy to layer under our shell for colder and wetter days on the trail.
