Returns

• Returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase for a refund, exchange, or credit

• If you have any questions regarding a return, please call (817) 823-0010. Your order number serves as your return authorization (RA#).

Conditions

• Returned items must be unused and in new condition, including all original tags, packaging, and accessories.

• For footwear returns, please do not use the shoe box as the shipping box. Place the shoe box inside another shipping carton to prevent damage.

Return Shipping

• Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer

• If preferred, we can provide a prepaid return shipping label, and the cost of the label will be deducted from your refund.

• To request a prepaid label, please email hospitality@mountainsports.com and include your order number.

Non-Refundable Items (unless defective)

For safety and hygiene reasons, the following items cannot be returned unless they are defective:

• Climbing gear

• Food items

• Water filters

• Cut cord

• Special-order items

Refund Method

• Refunds are issued using the original payment method whenever possible.

• Credit card purchases will be refunded to the original card used at checkout. Apple Pay purchases will be refunded to the card linked to the Apple Pay account. PayPal purchases will be refunded to the original PayPal account.

International Orders

Mountain Sports cannot accept international orders, including APO's.

Sales Tax

We are required to charge sales tax on orders shipped to certain states. The sales tax amount applied to your order during the checkout process is our best estimate. The sales tax ultimately charged will be calculated when your purchase is shipped and will reflect applicable state and local taxes.

Return Policy

If you are not satisfied with your purchase it may be returned for credit, exchange or refund within 30 days. Please call us at (817) 823-0010 for any questions. Use your order number as your RA#. The following conditions apply.

• The item must be unused and in the original condition that it was sent, including all tags, packaging and accessories. For items like shoes please do not use the shoe box as the shipping box. Either wrap it or
  put it into another box like the way we sent it to you.
• You are responsible for return shipping costs. If desired you can request a return shipping label sent to you and we will deduct the cost of the return label from your refund. The cost of the label will vary depending on the weight and size of the package. Send us an email at hospitality@mountainsports.com for a request. Please include your order number.
• The following items are not refundable unless defective: Climbing gear, food items, water filters, cut cord and special order items.
• When returning items to us we recommend shipping UPS or USPS insured. Please include a copy of your receipt.
• Merchandise paid for with a credit card will be credited to your card. All online orders using Apple Pay will be refunded to the credit card associated with the Apple Pay account. All online orders using PayPal will be refunded to the original PayPal account.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and climbing equipment(carabiners, rope, helmets, hardware, etc.). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know once your refund is approved. You will be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
